New Campus Info

Hey!

I’m admitting up front that this is a lengthy email, but please take just a few minutes to read it in its entirety. It’s packed with information that is so important for you and your family as we are only a week away from our Grand Opening!

Calendar Update |

Due to all of the excitement around our New Campus, it was necessary for us to go in and update our 2017 Calendar. Please (1) accept my apologies for any confusion this may cause and (2) update your family’s calendars to reflect the changes. Thank you so much for your flexibility!

2017 Transit Calendar (Updated)

In addition to the general calendar revisions, I wanted to highlight a few of our upcoming camps to encourage you to (a) note the changes and (b) GET YOUR STUDENT REGISTERED!! 🙂

**Reminder: if you have a 5th grade Student, they can go to Frequency this year. If you have an 8th Grade Student, they can go to High School Camp**

Walking Wisely Weekend (Middle School): Will NOT be an overnight camp this year, instead it will take place one evening in the month of March (more info here: Walking Wisely Weekend Details/Registration)

Frequency Camp (Middle School): Registration is now open (more info here: Frequency Camp Details/Registration)

Drop-Off/Pick-Up |

Attached, you will find a map indicating where Drop-Off and Pick-Up will happen for both Transit and InsideOut. Please do your best to honor Drop-Off times (to give your students that extra thirty minutes to meet friends and hang with their small Group)(NOTE: the Lobby doors will open right at 2:30pm and 4:00pm) and Pick-Up times as we will quickly be moving into InsideOut or going home to fall asleep after a busy day 🙂

New Schedule |

In case you have not seen it yet, here is our new Student Ministry Schedule (all times are for Sunday afternoons):

2:30pm – 3:00pm Transit Drop-Off

3:00pm – 4:05pm Transit

4:05pm Transit Pick-Up

New Series |

Beginning Feb 5, we will be launching a new series called, “GOAT.” In this series, we will be looking at what made Jesus the Greatest Of All Time (“GOAT”) and what we can learn from His example.

Serving Opportunities |

We still have several needs for Volunteers in both Transit and InsideOut! If you are interested in being apart of our team please click one of the links below:

Environments Team |

We are asking each parent to consider serving a few times a year helping us plan, set-up, and decorate some of our special events, camps, and retreats. We will need a few people to help with the manual labor as well as some who have an eye for decorating, etc.

If you’re willing to be added to this team please follow this link: Environments Team Sign-Up

*Note: This is a minor commitment. 2-3 times a year, max 3-5 hours per event.

**I know this was a lot of information, but it is important to me and the Student Ministry team to keep you as updated as possible! Thank you and I will see you (and your students) on Feb 5!!

I can’t wait to see what how the next several months/years are going to impact your student. We’ve got some exciting days ahead of us at Journey, and in Transit!
